How exciting is this, We have been nominated for our very first Liebster award by Jessica @ The Wondering Brain! Thanks Jessica! We are very thrilled about this because it means that someone is reading and likes what we have to say! We promise not to let it go to our heads since we have only been blogging for about two weeks....OK....maybe a little. We promise to keep the posts coming and hope you all continue to enjoy, laugh , and cry (sometimes out of pity) with us.

If you’re like me, then maybe you haven’t heard of this award before. Basically, from what I have learned, it’s an award given to bloggers with less than 200 followers by other bloggers who enjoy your blog (say that 10 times fast..lol). 11 Random Facts about us:

• We got engaged at and went on our honeymoon at the same place...Disney.

• Brandon teaches CPR and first aid.

• Brandon also blogs about soccer.

• Krista has a culinary degree and makes cakes for fun.

• Krista also has a degree in accounting.

• We stood in line overnight at the Disney Store just to buy princess dolls (worst and greatest accomplishment....lol).

• Krista played the clarinet in the band.

• Our son is named after a player on the Red Sox...Jacoby Ellsbury (Brandon is a huge Red Sox fan).

• When we named Michaela we hoped that she wouldn't be called Micky, yet Micky is what we have called her since she was born.
• Jacoby was born on Father's Day
• Brandon is an artist (on the side) and he sold his first painting at the age of 17....kid you not!!!
  

Answers to questions from The Wondering Brain:
What does your blog name mean?
        In life sometimes you focus so much on all the things that are stressing you out, that sometimes you miss life. In the mornings when we are getting ready, one of our duties is to make lunch for the  kids to take that day...everyday we put in a fruit punch. It's personal reminder for us (Brandon and myself) to roll with the (fruit) punches and just focus on raising our children the best we can...the rest will take care of itself.
What's your favorite day of the week?
        Any day that I get to spend at home with my family.
Where do you find inspiration for your blog?
        I would say that most of our inspiration for our blog comes from our two kids, they can always keep life interesting.
What's your biggest accomplishment?
      Not to be too cheesy but our greatest accomplishments has been being parents to our 2 kids. We always knew that we wanted to be parents so that is what we did. I know that we are not perfect parents and I'm sure we have made many mistakes but when its comes down to it we are very proud of the job we have done in shaping our little ones into who they are today.

        Krista: Buffalo Chicken Pasta

If you had an opportunity to succeed, what would it be? 
        Krista: I would own a cute little bakery that would turn into a family business for generations.
        Brandon: I would work for ESPN as a sports journalist. I love sports and really enjoy writing about things that I have an interest in.
